Mood: I didn't get much sleep the night before, and woke up at 3a to do homework. I was a little out of it. But still had enough caffeine to persevere. I had a monster headache all morning. We were kinda giddy about the approaching weekend and generally happy to be running in the gym. During the run, my headache went away and we ran 3 miles, walked 1, then ran 2. It felt easy. The last lap I sprinted, and it felt amazing to go so fast. Shows me what kind of pace to aim for one day. 

Weather: Raining and cold, in the low 40s. So happy Kel got that gym membership...

Music: Trance Nation & George Acosta. Trance music is a little boring for running. It's pleasant enough, but I need some distracting vocals. It made me think that I should record some sort of motivational running MP3 to listen to. It would be shit like "you are strong and powerful and think of how many calories you're burning and..." Hmm that's a little weak. Anyway, perhaps a project for another day.

Effort: 3/5. I was tired but it seems like the 5-6 milers are getting as easy as 3s were. HELL YES.
